The Sugar Bowl challenge 24 - Marlenes sketch + Candy Winner

Morning everyone and how are you all this morning...my card today is for The Sugar Bowl, I nearly missed this challenge because I was positive that I had already put an entry in...oops...the challenge is a fab sketch from the supertalented Marlene with the added extra of adding zigzags somewhere on your card...I used my favourite ever Sugar Nellie stamp, she is just so gorgeous hugging her dolly isnt she, I coloured her with Distress ink amd used some of the fab Eskimo kisses paper pad from Basicgrey which is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I added some flowers from my stash frosted with some Kars glitterglue and finished with a few pearls to match the sketch and three zigzag ribbons...I hope you like it...now scroll down for my candy winner everyone who entered....

Now for the bit I hate, I hate to pick just one winner thank goodness I dont have to pick and can use a machine to do it...After I deleted all the second posts and I used RNG to pick the winner the number is No. 51 which makes the winner...............

Simon says - Winter love and Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge 80

Hi everyone...before I tell you about todays card I need to AAAAAARRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHH thats better lol...I spent the last 3 hours waiting for a teeny chink of light to come out of the heavy storm clouds here and these are the best photos I managed to get...thank goodness for high tech cameras I say...anyway...todays card is for two challenges Simon Says Challenge which is Winter Love and Spoon Full of Sugar which is non tradiitonal christmas colours...I think I managed them both...I used this gorgeous little skating couple from Magnolia they should do more with these two together, anyone got their Winter Kit yet by the way?...they are coloured with Distress Ink and I have glittered them and around the edge of the image, which its hard to see except on the closeup...I used this stunning Basicgrey paper, arnt those huge snowflakes lush...I added some punched out spotty paper snowflakes and an organza pink ribbon to finish...I hope you like it.

Whiff of Joy Challenge 57 A Christmas card & Fridays Sketchers #80

Happy Monday everyone I hope you had a fantastic weekend...mine was quiet well at least after battling the shops on Saturday anyway...today's card is for Whiff of Joys Christmas card challenge and Friday Sketchers gorgeous sketch, love it its a simple but really effective layout...I used one of the newer WOJ images and coloured the scrummy little image with Distress inks and paper pieced the tree adding pearls for the baubles...the amazing papers are Basicgreys Figgy Pudding range and is called Forest, I love those little patterned trees dont you, I thought at first I had missed a bit of the tree at the top with the paper piecing but its just the pattern phew lol...I finished the card with a selection of buttons from my stash...I hope you like it.

Bunny Zoe's Crafts & Basicgrey Challenge week 9 a Sketch by Tara G and Spoon Full of Sugars colour Combo

Afternoon everyone I hope your having a great Sunday, well I went Christmas shopping yesterday and never ever again will I do christmas shopping on a Saturday, it was like a cattle market and I can honestly say I have never seen so many sad faces in my life, you know if your not enjoying it go home, which is exactly what I did lol...we should make it a rule at Christmas we all go shopping on a Wednesday and smile at everyone we meet so we can spread a bit of Christmas cheer.

Now on todays card which is for Bunny Zoe's Crafts and I used the fabulous sketch over at Basicgrey Challenges and the colour combo of Brown and Pink over at Spoon full of Sugar, its a fabby and I will use it again...now did you know that Nikki is having a fabulous

Mo's DT & Creative Inspirations challenge 36

Morning everyone and I hope you have a great weekend planned, whos doing christmas shopping this weekend I hate doing it at weekends dont you because everyone always seems to have the same idea...anway for todays Mo's Digital Pencil card I used the fabulous sketch over at Creative Inspirations, its a great sketch, I love sketches with circle on them, pop over and have a look...I used this gorgeous Andy Celebrating stamp isnt he just gorgeous and just perfect with these Cosmo Cricket Early Bird papers I bought from Bunny Zoe's Crafts, I must admit there is not one of those papers in the pad that I dont like, in fact I will have to buy the rest of the pads I think, maybe after Christmas though, I seriously need to buy some presents lol....Andy is coloured with a mixture of Copics, Distress ink and Whispers pens...I added some ribbons and a piece of sentiment ribbon from my stash...I hope you like it...have a fab Saturday and try not to spend too much money...speak to you tomorrow all

Just Magnolia week 33 - Sketch by Martine

Before I tell you about todays we had more sad news this week at Just Magnolia, we are losing our fanatstic Rach from our DT as she has a little too much on her plate at the mo, Im totally gutted and it has been such a sad couple of weeks for everyone on the DT, but we have three new DT members, Jane, Sheila and Jacque are joining us on the Just Magnolia, great to have you on board girls but I will miss Rach's fantastic creations so much but will still be stalking her incredible blog.
Right news flash over so onto my card for this week have you got your sunglasses on lol, we have a fantastic sketch this week by the amazing Martine, thanks Martine I love it...I used this gorgeous little Tilda as she is just sssssoooo cute and I have coloured her with Distress inks, now how gorgeous is this paper, its by imaginisce and is called Lady bug ball, its really high gloss which you cant see on the photographs, I folded some of this gorgeous oil on water shiny ribbon behind the image and added a tag and some glitterboard snowflakes and a button, the lace paper at the back is punched with a Martha Stewart double hole punch...I hope you like it, if you have the time please pop over to the Just Magnolia blog and have a look at the rest of the DT's fabulous work.

Mojo Monday week 114

Morning everyone hope you have a great day planned, Im off to the supermarket today oh joy of joys lol...todays card is for Mojo Monday, I love the sketches on there they are always brilliant to follow and a great kickstart for your mojo if you need one...I am officially in love with the Twinkles from the Greeting Farm, how adorable are these little characters and so fabulous to colour although I havent got her hair right yet, I used Distress Inks for this Lottie with her bowl of apples, I bought my three beauties, so you will see Madelynn and Izzy in the next week, from Nikki at Bunny Zoe's Crafts and at £5.95 each I think they are an incredible bargain...I used some more of these stunning K&Co papers from the Brenda Walton paper pad and used my doily punch on the trim at the top, I finished with a organza and satin white ribbon and cut out one of the flowers for a little interest...I hope you like it and have a great day everyone, I will see you tomorrow for the Just Magnolia challenge DT card

Truly Scrumptious challenge 21 - Mo's DT card and Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends

Before we start looking at todays card I want to wish our friends from across the pond a wonderful Thanksgiving and hope you all have a wonderful day.
Wwwwhhhooooohhhhoooo time for a new Truly Scrumptious challenge and the sketch this week is by the fabulous Debbie I love this sketch Debbie its fabulous and I will so use it again, theres also an added extra of adding a sparkly flourish to your entry too for the challenge, cant wait to see what you come up with...I want to introduce you to Sticky isnt he just the cutest little elf and this card is also for Mo's Digital Pencil DT so guess who its by lol, have you seen Mo's new images, the little Miss Muffet is just to die for...I knew as soon as I saw him that he would be a dream to colour in Distress ink and Copics and knew I would use this Making Memories Fa la la papers called Xmas numbers and the spotted is the reverse of it, fab isnt it, I used some ribbons and made up a flourish with some Kars gems and some of the lush glitzy Kars glitter from my stash and cut out one of the numbers from the paper to finish it...I hope you like it...if you have time dont forget to hop on over to Truly Scrumptious and check out the rest of the DT's work...amazing creations, and give the sketch a go this time so I can have a nosy at all your fabulous work...enjoy the rest of your day everyone

Friday Sketchers and Bunny Zoe's Crafts DT

Hello crafters, hope your all having a lovely day, now I want to hear an aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh from you all I have the sniffles 'sniff sniff' woke at 5am and sneezed so much I almost blew my nose off my face lol do you feel sorry for me, bet you dont lol...anyway onto my card for today I used the brilliant sketch at Friday Sketchers for my DT card for Bunny Zoes Crafts, isnt this Bildmalarn (I cannot for the life of me pronounce that name) cutie sssssooooo pretty shes called Mimosa on the Bench and shes brand new over at Bunny Zoe's crafts, shes fabulous to colour and would look great in any colour I think, I used her with some K&Co papers from the Mckenna paper pad, these are my very favourite paper pads and I always rebuy them as they are such a bargain I even added some to my candy, they are fantastic at £2.75 and last ages and dont forget theres a huge sale on at Bunny Zoe's now so grab some bargains...I finished with some green satin ribbon and a spray of metal flowers from my stash...I hope you like it...theres a new challenge tomorrow at Truly Scrumptious and its a fabulous sketch which I will so reuse so you have a day to still join in the last one before the new...speak tomorrow then.

Whiff of Joy Challenge 56 - My first easel card

Happy Monday everyone...I hope you had a fantastic weekend and have joined in with my blog candy, I have to update it, told you I would find more, I found a bag of lace and my fat flowers I have sorted out for it...todays card is for the Whiff of Joy challenge which is a great sketch and I finally decided to have a go at an easel card, what do you think?...I used this stunning little candle girl shes so sad looking isnt she but beautiful to colour...shes coloured with distress ink, the amazing papers are from Graphic45 arnt they incredible I love graphic45 and get all mine from my local shop Crafters and Co. thank goodness Sara has the same passion for paper as me, the lace paper is Masterpiece and the spotted is Around the world, when I was out at the weekend I found some beautiful black and gold christmas decorations and they gave me the idea for this card, the stunning pearl lace is from my mate Tabs shop and the gold card and Anna Griffin sentiments are from my stash...I hope you like it and enjoy the rest of your Happy Monday

ITS CANDY TIME !!!!...updated - CLOSED

Hi everyone theres no card today but its blog candy time instead...on the 12th November its was my very 1st blogaversary and that and hitting the staggering number of 75,000 hits and over 400 followers I had to do a yummy candy didnt I...I was going to show you my very first card I put on but seriously it was horrendous so if you want a look at it its here, I cant believe how much my colouring has come on since then and how fast the time has gone and as a thank you to all you fantastic bloggers Im offering this selection of some of my favourite things

Of course I couldnt have candy without some Magnolias could I...all my goodies are brand new and unopened

2 of my very favourite Magnolia stamps (speaks for itself lol)

Sugar Nellie Christmas Fairy

3 bags of assorted colours Prima flowers

bag of 10 yards of the lushest ribbon (I have 6 of these)

5 Kars glitter glue (once you try these you will never use another)

3 paper pads 2 K&Co and DCWV Nanas nursery glitter stack

a very favourite bags of buttons (Im on my third now)

a set of my very fav pearl headed pins

2 lengths of lace in latte and cream

1 length of cream tulle

and a mixture of my fat roses and flowers

Im sure theres a couple of things I forgot to photograph but I will come across them when Im cleaning my craftroom this afternoon so will add them later.

Mo's DT Card & Fabulous sale news

Morning everyone I hope your all having a fantastic weekend and no too stressful with christmas shopping, I havent even started mine yet oops better get a move on lol...for todays card which is for Mo's Digital Pencil DT let me introduce you to the beautiful cupcake fairy called Sugar, isnt she just the most gorgeous fairy ever, I love her hair dont you, she is of course like all the super talented Mo's images a dream to colour, I coloured her with Distress ink and glittered her up, although its hard to see I promise you its there...the paper is from K&Co, I found it in my drawer so sorry I dont know the name...all I needed to finish this card as I thought the fairy should be the main thing was two organza glittery ribbons, in pink and blue and a cupcake button from my stash...I hope you like it

Just Magnolia Challenge 32 - Masking

Morning everyone before I start to tell you about todays card, I wanted to thank everyone who entered last week it was such a thrill to see all your fantastic work made with my sketch also I have to tell you some very sad news we are losing two of our girls on Just Magnolia, the wonderful Kim and Martine have their hands full with other comittments at the moment and have to concentrate on them for now, you will both be sadly missed but please dont be strangers....now onto todays Just Magnolia card, our challenge this week is masking and yes I know I used this image last week but once I had decided on the stamp for the background I knew this little Tilda would match it perfectly plus I wasnt very happy with last weeks colouring so had another go....the stunning stamp I used for Tildas background is by Rubber Stampede and is called Holiday Pear Collage and Tilda is masked onto it...they are coloured with distress ink and glittered too, the paper is from Graphic45 again, I love these papers so much this is from the Times Nouveau Collection and is called Bees Knees, all I needed to finish was a thick gold mesh wired ribbon made into a huge bow and a bunch of berries...I hope you like it...enjoy your Friday everyone and please hop on over to Just Magnolia to see the rest of the DT's work...stunning...thanks everyone who joined in the blog hop and commented on my Colour Create card, I really appreciate it

Colour Create DT Card - My choice and Mo's Dreamteam Monthly blog hop

Good Morning everyone, now today is a double post, one for the new Colour Create Challenge which is my choice and being near Christmas I picked Green, Red and White and the theme...er....Christmas lol...I used the other fabulous new Whiff of Joy stamp and coloured the figures with Distress ink and paper pieced the chair coverings, I love paper piecing don't you...the amazing paper is by Graphic45 and is from the Christmas past collection called Carol of the Bells...I added some stunning ribbon I bought from Tabbycrafts, lush isn't it and a mixture of ribbons from my stash, I finished with a tartan bow and some berries and leaves from a bunch I bought ages ago...the stamp has a lovely traditional feel to it don't you think and I tried to get the same feel to the card...thanks for all your amazing entries to our last challenge and I cant wait to see what you come up with this time...pop on over to Colour Create and see what the wonderful girlie's did for their DT cards...all so different...now scroll down for the Mo's DT monthly blog hop post

Mo's DT Monthly Blog hop

Now for my second card you just couldn't get any different from the first could you lol...this card is for this months Mo's DT Monthly blog hop, the theme this month is hosted by the fabulous Mel who chose 'Precipitation Inspiration' which is any Mo's image connected to water, snow, rain etc , you should have come here from Kerrtu's blog and if you haven't pop over to Mels to start at the beginning...I chose this fabulous little 'Duck Day' image, how gorgeous is she with her little mac and wellies, I really enjoyed colouring this little girl and her duck friends...the papers are from My Minds Eye and is a double sided sheet called Sweet Hearts from the Be Loved collection bought from Bunny Zoe's Crafts, I cut the image into this shape because I wanted it to look like a photograph, I added some bright yellow buttons (which I have added a bag to my blog candy for the weekend) and Prima Roses and a printed sentiment...I hope you like it...your next stop on the hop is the wonderful Cheryl and after that its the super talented Elaine...enjoy your blog hop as your in for a treat with all those stunning creations from the DT

Bunny Zoe's crafts DT - Mojo Monday week 113

Morning everyone...my whole craftroom smells like the inside of a hot water bottle, I got new rubber this morning wwwwoooohhhhoooo...the super kind wonderful Jacqui sent me some mini magnolias she got for me at the NEC, your a star Jacqui thank you...they are ssssooooo cute and teeny tiny I love them...I also managed to buy the new Greeting farm twinkle girls from Bunny Zoe's crafts and she sent me this little fella too, isnt he just ssssooooo chilled and perfect for boys cards...so guess what I will be doing all afternoon lol.
Right onto my card today which is for Bunny Zoe's Crafts DT and using the fab sketch over at Mojo Monday...this little fella is by the Greeting Farm and is called WS-Hugh, I coloured him with distress ink and used a couple of papers from the stunning Love me Do paper pack by My Minds Eye that I bought from Bunny Zoe's too...the spot is called Love is in the Air and the heart is Forever in Plaid, double sided too...I added a sentiment I printed and some ribbon and buttons from my stash...I hope you like it.

Simon says Challenge - Thinking of You

Morning everyone from a very windy, soggy Northern Ireland....squelch lol...so for my card today for Simon says Challenge I thought a summery, flowery card was needed...I used one of my new stamps from Whiff of Joy, how stunning is she, I coloured her with Distress inks and used her with these amazing papers, look at those colours and patterns they could only be K&Co couldn't they...they are from the Brenda Walton 8x8 paper pad, I think I know them all then I look again and think wow I didn't see that one...and they are all double sided too these are from one sheet...I added some lush thin satin ribbon, and oh that reminds me I got the bargain of the year last week...you know that red backed tape that is super strong but expensive I got 10 rolls for £5 at the show and because it was the last day he gave me 5 free too...hows that for a bargain and it sticks anything...right back to the card, I finished with a bow and some Prima flowers and pearls from my stash...I hope you like it....have a fabulous day and if the weathers as bad where you are don't forget your umbrella and wellies lol

Friday Sketchers 78 & Mo's Digital Pencil DT card

Happy Monday everyone, hope you all had a fantastic weekend, well I managed to get exactly no christmas present yet, the mind just went blank so its best not to buy as they just have to go back...my card today is for Mo's Digital Pencil DT and using Friday sketchers gorgeous sketch... I used this fantastic angel shes called Sending Peace and is perfect for Christmas I think, isnt she just stunning, so fabulous to colour too...I coloured her mainly with Weathered wood distress ink and copics...the amazing papers are from a Making memories Wedding pack of 8x8 papers, love them and just perfect for this beautiful image from Mo's Digital Pencil...the amazing oil on water ribbon was a fab gift from my friend Liza...its so shining and many tones in it, I added two sentiments I printed and a couple of large pearl headed pins...I finished by glittering my angels wings...I hope you like it

Another 'my favourite'

Yooooohhhhooooo everyone 'waving like mad'...well the shows over and I had the best time, I met loads of fantastic people, some I know some I didnt, arnt crafters just such lovely, kind people...todays card is the last of my samples I will show for a while. thank goodness for that I hear you say lol, Im having a day off from card making because Im beginning to dream of Tildas lol...I thought I would show you another of my favourite stamps from the Christmas ones, this one sold out too oops, isnt she just gorgeous and that bow is fabulous, I coloured her in so many ways but on the card I paper pieced her bow using the reverse of this fab Basicgrey, Eskimo kisses paper, love it...shes coloured in Distress ink and I just layered her up...I hope you like it.

I will be back with a vengeance tomorrow with a Mo's Digital Pencil fabulous new image and I promise I wont show you another Magnolia until Friday lol

I hope you all have a brilliant weekend and its another set post by Mr blogger...its the last day of the show today and I dont have a challenge card for you to see but I just had to show you this new Magnolia stamp isnt it fabulous, I love it, I think its one of my favourites, so beautifully festive and you can almost smell Christmas from it...its coloured with distress ink and I cut out the stocking and 3d'd them...the stunning foiled paper is just beautiful and the berries are so shining, its by Making Memories and is called Holly Laef Mistletoe...I finished with a circle tag cut from a sheet of paper and a ribbon from my stash...I hope you like it.

Everything will be back to normal tomorrow and I will be blog hopping like mad as I have missed looking at all your fabulous work.
